Jun 1, 2017 · Normal SBR setup wears a Primary Arms 1-6x ACSS 300BO reticle in an ADM recon mount on the Seekins 10.5" 300BO upper When I swap I swap over to the 10.5" 5.56mm upper, I move over either the above PA or a Bushnell Elite 1-6x (normally on the SP3G) depending on what gun isn't going to be shot.

Mar 2, 2019 · Its had reports of great terminal effectiveness overseas, which is better than any ballistics gel tests. It also has some of the best accuracy of any 5.56 ammo, even though defensive use 1 MOA ammo isn't absolutely necessary. The 77 grain SMK open tip rounds are a very long 5.56 bullet, so that helps with effectiveness when it yaws.

Sep 6, 2022 · TLDR version - I think making some flavor of AR22 is the best, but it depends on your budget and intended usage. I've had both a 10/22 SBR and an AR-22. My buddies have M&P 15-22s. 10/22 SBR I've had multiple iterations of SBR'd 10/22 all on the same receiver.

Feb 27, 2017 · Michael, I would say that a 10.5" - 11.5" barrel would be best. 11.5" barrels are also very commonly used for 5.56 SBRs. Are you going to build this with a free-float handguard? If so, you may want to consider an adjustable gas block so that you can tune the AR for use with and without the suppressor.

Nov 26, 2022 · And for me, by far the optic that fits my needs the best is the EOT EXPS 2, the Accupower 1-4 was not bad also. You really cant get a better FOV than looking thru that picture window glass on an EOT EXPS. If ACOG made a diopter adjustable ACOG, I think the TA-110 ACOG would also be good on my SBR
