Oct 20, 2009 · Not positive, but I believe that the police and military guys who carry the M9, are using 147 grains HP's. If you are used to practicing with 124 grain bullets (I use plated 124 grain flat points), and want to stay with the same aim points, then go with the 124 grain hollow points.
Can you own a berreta m9 in ma. - Northeastshooters.com Forums
Nov 1, 2011 · The rear sight difference between my M9 slide and 92f is similar to a GI vs. commercial 1911 sights--thin and permanantly affixed vs. wider dovetail. Both my front sights on my M9 and 92F slides are simply part of the slide, as was every other M9 I've seen in the military.

Trigger won't reset on my Beretta. - Northeastshooters.com Forums
Feb 10, 2008 · I took my Beretta M9 to the range today and shot a few mags through it when it started not resetting the trigger after each shot. It would reset when I flicked it forward but not when the gun cycled. I took out the mag and cleared the chamber and dry fired it several times but the trigger would not reset after it was pulled.

Jul 15, 2012 · I have the same problem. Brand new 92fs that I shot today and was shooting about 8" low at 25'. Good grouping but low. I also had a friend shoot the beretta, (he is a qualified Expert in the US Army with his military issued Beretta) and he had the same issue. I would love to know what kinds of adjustable night sights people are using with success.

LTT Trigger Job in a Bag - 92/96/M9 Series
Apr 29, 2005 · The Beretta M9 and 92 series ave very accurate out of the box other than the trigger so there isnt much to do to them. Handloads seal the deal if you are looking for the most accuracy. I will have to take a look and see if they are still in business, that would suck if …
9mm Battle SIG P226 vs Beretta M92fs vs HK USP
Feb 10, 2014 · The M9 was simply the lowest bidder. Look at almost all mil units that can deviate from the genuinely issued stuff. Nobody goes with the Beretta. The German Ksk goes with H&K, the French GIGN goes with SIG, the British SAS have Glocks, the navy SEALs use the 226. Tells me that everybody who can, will stay clear from the M9. Not that I don't ...

Oct 1, 2010 · I spent a lot of time with it. The best upgrade by far was sending the gun to Allegheny Arms to convert the pistol grip into VERTEC version. `VERTEC changes the geometry of how you hold the gun and makes it a much, MUCH better gun for point shooting or fast follow-up shots. This is why ALL new Beretta 92s come with VERTEC grip!
Is this normal - half cock on DA trigger pull on Beretta 92FS?
Oct 2, 2012 · It should enter into a half cocked position and remain half cocked... I'm 80% sure it shouldn't drop when it reaches this. (It's been awhile since I've handled an m9) The half cocked position is considered a "safety feature" in the .mil Edit: Nevermind, I re-read that. Yes, "half cocked" is a feature of the weapon.
