Jul 31, 2020 · One of my biggest wonders about the DLC before its release was how they were gonna depict Benkei. We all have flashbacks about this guy from Nioh 1's Ohashi Bridge of course. With his insane damage, 999 Toughness + Stalwart Axe buff, Tengu sidekick, and his slightly busted headgear (+40% Toughness??? Wtf...)

Jul 30, 2020 · Made a gong sound for me, then Benkei fired a volley of arrows at Uminyudo. Just before I went into the fight Nekomata or Hakutaku popped up by my shoulder to make a comment on the gong below and to ring it for Benkei's assistance. Not sure if that's a cue you get if you've given Benkei (enough) arrows or if that pops up regardless.

Jul 31, 2020 · After you and Benki go your seperate ways before the Umi Bozu (big jelly) boss fight, you can talk to Benki and give him the extra flaming arrows you found in the mission. Then during the actual boss there is a bell you can hit with a heavy attack in the back corner of the boat.
