Jun 19, 2018 · Are you all recommending the M2 because of the issues with the SBE3 POI, or is the M2 really just that awesome? I ask because there seems to be a lot of fans on here that love the M2, I just hate to miss out on new technology/features if I am going to purchase one. Especially the "benelli click" fix on the SBE3

Benelli M2 - July 1, 2004 (also posted over in the Benelli Forum) Let me preface by saying this is intended as a rather lengthy review for people who, like me, haven't been satisfied with the limited reviews that are out there right now on the M2. But mostly it is to get all of my own thoughts down.

Aug 29, 2017 · Nothing like the difference between an O/U or Pump and any semi-auto, but enough that I could tell. For a hunting gun, I'd choose the M2 every day for its lighter weight, better reliability with hunting loads, easier and quicker cleaning (though the Maxus isn't bad), and how well it works for me (fit).

May 19, 2014 · I have both the Franchi affinity and the Benelli M2 with the comfort tech stock. Side by side the Benelli action is much smoother and the gun is much more comfortable to shoot. Now the affinity is also great but not quite like the M2.
