Jun 4, 2019 · Rick, The Steel Dream should sound outstanding with your rig. If you are coming from the VP to the input on the end of the Steel Dream, then from either OUTPUT 1 or 2 on the end backside of the Steel Dream to your amp, double check the BOOST/OFF switch in the Adverb section and to Loop/Off switch in the EchoZen section.

When the Lexicon MPX 1 came out and was all the rage for steelers, after the Alesis Quadraverb, I found that I had a couple of presets that I liked, but with so much on the menu, they were a little too many choices for me, and a lot were "space patrol" and went unused.

Mar 10, 2020 · Marv, I place my Benado on top of the amp too and can easily connect to it either way. I usually run the volume pedal out cord to the Steel Dream input and use a short cord from the Benado output to the amp input. Alternatively, I could run it thru the FX loop but prefer the sound with the unit placed before the amp.

May 10, 2004 · Here's the beautiful thing about the steel dream.....I learned years ago through using the studio's extremely expensive chamber and plate reverbs that I could play with a lot of reverb for inspiration and yet it still sounded fairly dry and in your face....Whereas an amps spring reverb or most reverb pedals do not give the same result.....Sage found the studio equivalent in the steel dreams ...

Aug 5, 1998 · YouTube Benado or visit his website. He also has a FB page including his latest pedal with (dual) delay. They're spendy, but are analog and well worth it in my opinion. I think he will configure whatever pedals you want into his boards. They also have DI outs etc.
