Dec 11, 2023 · Here's a list of the Mystaran dragons published for D&D to date. They were originally introduced in the Master Set; earlier Holmes, B/X, and BECMI products used the Original D&D dragons. Bruce Heard expanded a lot of info about them in articles, and the book Dragonlord of Mystara gave them some story.

Nov 24, 2020 · As fir BECMI era, I like B5 Horror on the Hill a lot, with a few tweaks here and there (the gingerbread house, the dragon's treasure). CM1 Test of the Warlords is probably the best campaign management module there is, and was perfect for the Companion set.

In 3e the spellcasting of a dragon is a scaled power based on breed and age category, but in BECMI it is a random "on-full" or "completely non-existant". It seems the easiest here is just to go with 3e rules concerning draconic spellcasting.
