Jun 16, 2014 · I use a Beckman handle and ring but have a Frabill net on it. Got the Beckman for a good price but didn't care for how heavy the bag was. Found the Frabill bag which is knotless and treated and very light which makes netting a breeze. I leave mine extended even with the 6' handle so the locking mechanism isn't an issue for me.

Jan 27, 2017 · Beckman frames are the cat's meow. I've used lotsa nets over my career, and NOTHING beats the Beckman combination of hoop/yoke/handle. Just feels so natural in hand when it's time for that critical netshot. I prefer mine paired with a small mesh knotless ProMar bag... and my guess is, so do the fish.

Lindy had aging board members that needed an exit, at which time a marketing firm put them up for sale and they accepted Pradco's offer. Beckman nets are still available through Pradco. The decision to have the nets made in China must have come before the sell.

Feb 28, 2017 · I really like my Beckman nets. I like how light they are in the hand yet they are built really well, very strong. The new Beckmans made by P-line appear to be just as good if not better, but time will tell. If you're fishing out of a larger 20-25' boat like most of us have, you'll want the 6 foot handle (Headhunter, that's handle length only).

Dec 24, 2009 · Beckman Nets Strictly Fishing. I'm not sure which one I have but I do know it's a 6 + 3 and has a red hoop and a net proof bag and it's tough as nails and handles any walleye and salmon up to 41 inches which is the largest fish I've had it in so far.
