Does TCF4 transactivate -catenin?
Approximately four-fold transactivation is observed upon transfection of either wild type Tcf4 (lane 3) or a Tcf4 mutant lacking the first 12 amino acids (Δ12Tcf4, lane 4). Transactivation is lost with Δ53Tcf4 (lane 5), which lacks the entire β-catenin binding domain.
