May 22, 2024 · Prysmian’s Board of Directors unanimously resolved to submit to the Ordinary Shareholders’ Meeting held on 18 April the name of Massimo Battaini for the position of Chief Executive Officer of Prysmian, world leader in the energy and telecom cable systems industry.

Massimo Battaini will be presented as CEO candidate in the slate that the Board will submit for the next election at the 2024 Annual General Meeting, when Valerio Battista will step down.

He was the CEO of Prysmian Group North America from June 2018 to February 2021. Battaini holds an MBA from SDA Bocconi and graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
