Would basilisk patronus be able to kill you? : r/harrypotter - Reddit
Jan 11, 2015 · Yet Andros the Invincible was said to have a Patronus "the size of a giant". A Basilisk is very large in size (both in the books and movies), so it's possible that Andros's Patronus could have been a basilisk. Other than that, the only other creatures I can think of are either a dragon or an actual giant for Andros's Patronus.
Would a basilisk patronus be able to petrify people
Aug 27, 2020 · If a Boggart (for the sake of argument) was trying to replicate Basilisk-gaze Petrification, it would likely hit its victims with a weaker version of the same magic; either a temporary but accurate Petrification, or a partial Petrification with only makes your joints stiff but doesn't quite prevent movement, or something like that.

What could be Voldemort’s Patronus? : r/harrypotter - Reddit
Not according to Pottermore, no. “While there is a widespread and justified belief that a wizard who is not pure of heart cannot produce a successful Patronus (the most famous example of the spell backfiring is that of the Dark wizard Raczidian, who was devoured by maggots), a rare few witches and wizards of questionable morals have succeeded in producing the Charm (Dolores Umbridge, for ...
Who would win in a fight between the basilisk and a dementor?
Mar 31, 2023 · Dementors are amortal (as in never having been alive and unable to die) and can only really be repelled by the Patronus Charm and the like. The Basilisk's eyes and their venom would do nothing to them. Dementors also only attack humans to feed on their happiness (and soul). I doubt they'd be interested in another dark creature like a Basilisk.

If someone’s Boggart was a basilisk, would it kill them by ... - Reddit
Sep 3, 2021 · It's not like the public were ever told it was a basilisk, otherwise there would likely be a lot more outrage. They weren't told, but in Philosopher's Stone, Dumbledore tells Harry, "What happened down in the dungeons between you and Professor Quirrell is a complete secret, so, naturally the whole school knows."
[Spoilers] Lord Voldemort Patronus : r/harrypotter - Reddit
Feb 2, 2022 · A basilisk would certainly fit Voldy's personality for so many reasons, but there are probably several other species that have died out from breeding bans that could potentially suit him better. Bellatrix would probably have a black widow patronus, and her happiest memory would probably be the torture of the Longbottom's or returning to Voldy ...

Harry slaying the Basilisk is never awesomed on enough
Salazar's personal pet was the oldest known basilisk in history, making it 50 feet long at minimum and most likely bigger due to it being alive for over a millennium. The movie definitely made it bigger (80 feet to be exact), but there's no way in hell Salazar's basilisk was anywhere close to the size of a python.
