Although the complaint seems generic, I totally understand what you mean. It's not just one help question, it's the total implementation. The software is buggy, crashes regularly and is terribly slow. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of Garmin, but BaseCamp (at least for the Mac) is the worst piece of software I have worked with in a long time.

BaseCamp is not an equal replacement. . . .Everything about the data in BaseCamp is difficult to work with. I am sorry but unless Garmin can restore features and make it easier to find your way around and save files BaseCamp is a loser in my mind.I (and many others) feel your pain. On the laptop while opening Basecamp 4.5.2 (a couple of days later), it popped up a window inside the app, showing a 4.5.2.1 update, which installed and restarted the app. This never happened on my desktop... wonder if this could be a selective fix based on the video subsystem in use by the computer or some other hardware related issue.
