The Clipper gas field is a major natural gas reservoir and gas production facility in the UK sector of the southern North Sea. The field is located about 73 km north-north-east of Bacton, Norfolk; the Clipper production facility has operated since 1990.

The Clipper installation produces and processes natural gas from its own wells and imports and processes gas from Barque PB & PL, Galleon PN & PG, Skiff PS, Cutter QC and Carrack QA. Two Stage Compression Station with Fiscal Metering. Export Pipeline to Shell Bacton Gas Plant.

The Bacton Gas Terminal is a complex of six gas terminals within four sites located on the North Sea coast of North Norfolk in the United Kingdom. The sites are near Paston and between Bacton and Mundesley; the nearest town is North Walsham.

First operational in 1990, the installation produces and processes gas from the wells on wellhead platform and gas is also imported from the satellite platforms, producing from the **Barque** (049/16), **Cutter**, **Carrack Gas Field** ** Galleon** and **Skiff** (048/20a) fields.

Nov 30, 1995 · Long before phase II of Galleon happens, the extension to the main Barque reservoir is being brought into production currently through the new Grootint-built, 2,000 tonne PL wellhead platform. Like the Barque PB platform, this is an unmanned satellite tied back to the Clipper complex.
