The main Draw of a Centaur is the 40 foot movement speed and the charge Feature which is a really fun and thematic gameplay. Since centaur is a natural Skirmisher I would recommend Ancestral Guardian.

Jul 10, 2022 · Pretty much any high armor class character with the Mounted Combatant feat -- it let's you redirect incoming attacks to YOU so barbarian can reckless attack all day long. It also allows them to have evasion, which stacks VERY nicely with Danger Sense. Paladins in particular are great due to their Aura at level6 plus the big damage they can bring.

May 3, 2020 · My honest suggestion would be either the ever famous moon Druid totem barbarian of pure unstoppable, unlimited HP (ancestral barb also works just not as famous) or to go a few levels in barb and then the rest in paladin because smite and lay on hands are not spells so they can be used while raging.

Nov 23, 2020 · It's pretty well known centaurs have a lot of trouble climbing, but would the path of the beast beastial soul remedy this? It gives climbing speed equal to walking speed (same applies with swimming speed). Would this give centaurs normal climbing or is this mostly up to the DM?

A great thing about being a Barbarian Centaur in 5e is the +2 STR bonus you get. This helps you do the necessary damage, and the extra carrying capacity is always excellent.
