Bar Jamón is a nice place to get some decent tapas near Union Square or to grab a couple glasses of wine before dinner. If you have a very intense appetite, this may not be the place for you in terms of food.

A lovely neighborhood wine bar with good ambiance. Can get very crowded even on the weekdays, but it adds to the European charm. Docking off a star because the waiter did not seem very knowledgeable or helpful about the specifics of both the wine and cheese menus.
