Oct 16, 2023 · Last weekend saw the start of the Bangers and Cash art trail around Sheffield. The trail features 21 decorated car bonnets, designed and painted by various local artists, with a load of additional creative roadsigns.

The Bangers and Cash fundraising road rally to support youth housing charity Roundabout has put on display in the Winter Gardens the work of local artists who have painted the bonnets of the rally cars.

Jul 31, 2018 · A new public art exhibition has opened in Sheffield’s beautiful Winter Gardens and it’s all for a good cause. Bangers and Cash opened last week in Sheffield city centre’s large timber arched greenhouse. It features 23 colourfully painted car bonnets which will hang high throughout August before venturing out onto the road for a big adventure.

Oct 23, 2023 · The Bangers and Cash art trail continues in Sheffield city centre and beyond. The trail is rasing money for local youth homelessness charity Roundabout. We wrote last week about the city-wide exhibition which features bonnets and roadsigns designed by local artists.

These unique, painted roadsigns have been painted by all our Bangers and Cash artists and more! Road signs here are designed by: Chums Chalks, Enso, Grace Jandrell, Illustrator Kate, Laura Gray, Lois Cordelia, nohone and Matt Cockayne. Aug 9, 2023 · The UK’s first art road show banger rally raised £96,000 as supporters drove from Sheffield to Monte Carlo in the craziest road trip of the year, their car bonnets all decorated with unique works created specially by well-known artists.

Inspired by those quiet moments within a city that could pass by unnoticed. New buildings tower over the old industrial history, and cracks appear in the pavement whilst these bricks and buildings fight for space with the nature that surrounds us and all is intertwined.
