This is a run in the northeastern part of Baku, incorporating the large open spaces around the modern Heydar Aliyev Centre, Congress Center, and Convention Park.

The 16 km of promenade paths along the Caspian Sea in Baku are the highlight of running in Baku. The concrete paths are very wide, and open, passing through numerous parks, with great water views the whole way. Bonus: lit at night! We’ve divided the promenade into two routes, starting at Azneft Square.

The Baku City Circuit is a fast-paced street raceway running near the Caspian Sea shore in the Baku Boulevard on a 3.73-mile (6-km) trajectory in Baku, Azerbaijan. The circuit features the longest straightaway in Formula 1, a 2.2-km (1.36-mile) stretch along Neftchilar Avenue in downtown Baku.

This is a ‘runseeing’ tour of the central part of Baku, taking in some of the city’s major sites and parks. It’s 13 km, but we’ve included a shorter option, below. Start in Fountains Square, and run east for 1 km through the Molokan Gardens and Sahil Bağı, a small, 19th-century park with ornamental gardens.
