Deku is a bad protagonist... : r/anime - Reddit
Aug 20, 2021 · Personal opinions are always valid. You just don't like the kind of archetype Deku is, and that's fine, but he's not objectively bad, or at least he's on the same level as the rest of the main characters on the show in terms of writing quality.
What are your honest thoughts on Deku? (and some changes you …
Jan 16, 2020 · I feel like Deku is fine up till the Overhaul fight. At that point, things just start getting weird. I don't think he necessarily became bad but concepts get introduced that make his journey ultimately take a backseat to the rest of the narrative. Which is in my opinion, the big issue considering he's the main focus of the story.
Deku is an awful main character. Change my mind : r/anime - Reddit
Apr 10, 2019 · The Deku fronting Season 2 and onward is lame. SO. LAME. If it weren't bad enough he's painted as an underdog when his academic status/"chosen one-ness"/prodigious heroic capabilities prove he's ANYTHING but, he doesn't have a single goddamn shortcoming in any regard that concerns the plot.
What would “villain” Deku actually be like? : r/MyHeroAcadamia
Feb 16, 2023 · A new hatred for All Might and Heroes in general blossoms, while Kacchan gets even worse as the months pass. One day, Deku walks past someone infected with the Scarring Plague. A futuristic disease that makes the infected have black curls on their body, and it leaves scars, hence the name. Deku and his mother both get infected. Deku lives.
Why I dislike Izuku Midoriya (MHA) : r/CharacterRant - Reddit
May 11, 2020 · If Deku’s classmates were prodigies themselves, it would make the narrative that Deku is a supposed ‘underdog’ more believable because everyone else is so competent whilst the only thing he can do when applying his quirk is literally breaking his arm.
Bad Deku idea part 7: Deku got Isekai to Super Sentai (or ... - Reddit
Dec 28, 2023 · What if Deku has OFA like 100% mastered his quirks. After he defeat AFO, he opened the portal and send Deku to the world of Super Sentai (or Power Rangers). Imagine a team of Super Sentai fighting against giant monster in their Megazord, just about to unleashed their final attack, the giant monster get smashed by non other than Deku himself ...
Why I think that Bakudeku is a bad ship : r/MyHeroAcadamia
Apr 28, 2023 · Bakugo and Deku have MORE interactions than Uraraka and Deku. Bakugo is almost a second main character with how much he appears beside Deku. Not to say Bakugo x Deku is canon (which I've already explained doesn't …
Would it be bad writing if Deku lost OFA in order to destroy AFO?
Jun 4, 2022 · I think Deku sacrificing OFA would really work as a very fitting ending to his journey but personally I want him to keep it and for the setting to be left open to continuation. Like not specifically set up for a sequel series, just done in a way that allows fans to dream about Deku’s career as a hero after the story.
Plot Armor and its good and bad uses on MHA : …
Jun 8, 2023 · Deku's plot armor against Overhaul (which you conveniently left out lol) is the motherload of bad writing and plot armor. Deku was 100% a goner against Overhaul, make no mistake here. And vestiges saving Deku against Shigaraki-AFO in the first arc, and even at Shinso at SF. It's bad plot armor.
Deku vs Toga was bad writing : r/BokuNoHeroAcademia - Reddit
Deku always worry about stuff like this, don’t call bad writing for him to act in character See what your not understanding is the writers didn’t write toga to be strong enough to take on deku, they wrote deku to be nerfed in that very moment with poor decision making and a lack of awareness with all the fighting experience he has.
