Aug 10, 2021 · @wac It would seem they do still do the physical phone books. Have a look at the FAQs on the link below. Under "Supply & Delivery Enquiries", it states that they deliver them every 12 months and that if you have not received one, you can order one for free if you are a BT customer. Otherwise if not BT customer, you can order one for a fee.

Nov 19, 2024 · BT engineer says they all need to be BT ones as the whole system is chaotic regarding incoming calls (phones don't stop ringing when you pick up, sometimes you can't speak to the person, etc). Total madness. Would all BT ones be compatible with my current two? I don't need an answerphone phone as I intend to use the 1571 service.

Jul 15, 2024 · Welcome to this user forum for BT Retail phone and broadband customers. It could be that the batteries are no good, as it seems a common issue with this phone. They are often faulty when originally supplied by BT. You can prove this by temporarily swapping the batteries to ordinary alkaline ones, but do not put it on the charger base.

Jan 8, 2025 · I spoke to various people at BT about this yesterday, some of whom were more helpful than others but ultimately no one could help me. Various checks were carried out and it was established that the line is working but it seems our phone is not connecting to the hub. Incidentally, it’s a new BT cordless phone which we have had for 6 months.
