Like much of New York City’s transportation infrastructure, Robert Moses had a hand in the planning and construction of the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (BQE). The cantilever is the expressway’s most distinctive feature, and was built to conserve space and minimize intrusion in the surrounding neighborhood.

BQE :: Expert Panel
Jan 30, 2020 · In April 2019, the City announced an expert panel to comprehensively evaluate the BQE project. The panel is chaired by Carlo Scissura, President & CEO of The New York Building Congress. The panel will conduct an independent review of the project and issue recommendations.
BQE :: Benjamin Prosky
Benjamin Prosky is Executive Director of the American Institute of Architects New York Chapter (AIANY) and the Center for Architecture. He previously served as Assistant Dean for Communications at Harvard Graduate School of Design (GSD).

Gutman has been active in a range of professional organizations over the course of his career, including the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, the Federal Bar Council and the American Intellectual Property Law Association.
