The L96A1 is unlocked at level 27. The L96A1 deals a seventy base damage per bullet. The L96A1 deals double the damage on all headshots and neck shots.

It remains as the only bolt-action sniper rifle in the game while being the most powerful aswell. This is usually prefered over other sniper rifles due to its damage, but can sometimes be outperformed by the PSG-1 due to it's high recoil, slow drop-off, and slow rate of fire.
