The BMW Z models are a line of roadsters manufactured by German automaker BMW. The Z stands for Zukunft (German for future), [1] and has been produced in four different series with six generations consisting of roadster, coupé, sports car, and concept variants.

The BMW Z8 is a roadster produced by German automotive manufacturer BMW from 1998 to 2003. The Z8 was developed under the codename "E52" between 1993 and 1999, through the efforts of a design team led by Chris Bangle from 1993 to 1995. [2] The exterior was designed by Henrik Fisker and the interior by Scott Lempert. [3]

Long regarded as BMW's flagship full-size luxury sedan, the 2025 7 Series lives up to its legacy with a streamlined exterior, brilliant displays, and lavish interior. The expressive exterior features an available illuminated kidney grille and split-headlight configuration.

The BMW Z1 is the first model in BMW's line of Z series roadsters (two-seater convertibles), and was produced in limited numbers from 1989 to 1991. The Z1 is unique for its plastic body panels and vertically sliding doors which drop into the door sills.

Sep 24, 2018 · With the 1997 introduction of the all-aluminum 189-hp M52 2.8-liter six-cylinder engine (3 and 5 Series sedans with the inline-six would soldier on with a cast-iron block for a couple more years), the Z3 upped the performance quotient considerably.
