Sep 11, 2015 · As said, BMW put M badged sport steering wheels in all of the later Z3s. This has lead to many a used car ad claiming "has the full M package". There was a sport package, but no M package. The M Roadster and M Coupe where considered a different model line at the time.

Aug 2, 2023 · Hi, just upgraded from my 1997 Z3 1.9L to the 2000 M Roadster. The airbag warning light came on at the dealer when test driving and they reset it. They told me it was set off by my cell phone being in my pocket and I should either put it on the center counsel or off when driving and that seemed very odd to me.
