Oct 30, 2017 · To put Z1 in perspective, E30 M3 cost 65,600DM, M3 Sport Evo - 85,000DM, M3 Convertible - 93,250DM. As for the 7 series, only the V12 models were more expensive, which started at 117,000DM. 735iL cost 4,000DM less than the Z1. The official 0-62mph is at 7.9sec.

The BMW Z1 is the first model in BMW's line of Z series roadsters (two-seater convertibles), and was produced in limited numbers from 1989 to 1991. The Z1 is unique for its plastic body panels and vertically sliding doors which drop into the door sills. It is one of the first BMWs to use a multi-link rear suspension.

The issue for me is, Do they actually work better than the OEM headlights? I have asked many times and nobody answers this one true question. I’m still considering a set since I’ve owned mine.
