Dec 12, 2022 · If you want to power a XT use the BMW repair plug and wire it to the end of the XT and plug it into factory plug with no wire cutting or splicing. The NAV VI is a great NAV when it is not ghosting on you. If Garmin keeps working to fix it it may survive for a lot more years.

Dec 22, 2023 · Kristopher's approach replaces the BMW mount's sliding locking bar with a double bar which blocks release of the XT2 from its mount, and a spacer which moves the XT2 out (toward the rider) to provide clearance (the XT2 is larger than the Nav VI and XT).
