Feb 19, 2024 · I live in a rural area of Minnesota (Red Wing, Mn). I am seriously considering a Macan GTS over a BMW X4M. So I inquired at a dealership in Appleton, Wisc. I have been to Minneapolis Porsche, no problem but none in inventory. When making an enquiry about a Macan GTS in stock, I get the following reply. I did say that I was from Minnesota.

Jan 30, 2014 · The BMW X4M is comparable in many ways but not others. Part of the problem is that I can't test drive a turbo. So, its hard to tell. I'm clear the Porsche is a better car. Which is why I want it. But it's hard to justify 'double' the price. The Porsche maintenance for 20k,30k and 40k miles adds about 14K in additional costs.
