Jul 23, 2019 · E60 M5 major model year differences - 2008 they updated the head/tail lights and interior (LCI), 2009 the cars got a new Idrive controller but old idrive computer, and the last year 2010 the idrive was updated to what BMW used through 2013. You will pay a premium for a 2010. I'd argue that regardless of asking price these are 25K cars.

Sep 15, 2020 · Here in Germany there are lots of low mileage, well-specced US and Japanese imports of German brands on the market, usually about 1-2000 EUR less than domestic ones. You have to ask yourself why would a perfectly fine BMW get sent across the ocean back to Germany when there is a thriving market for used BMWs in the US?

Sep 11, 2023 · On the best days I get 15-16 mpg, but if you want to enjoy it on backroads while listening to the sound of the V10, it's worth it. If you get a clean car with relatively low milage and good maintenance history, you just need to set aside $5-6k for rod bearings, throttle actuators and few more things to make sure it stays reliable.

Aug 30, 2020 · Anyone interested in this should take a hard look at the bmw S85 vs the E41/4. Bmw wanted to do the V10 from F1 in a road car but the needs of a street car for idling and torque and power are so different. You want your street car to idle at low rpms not 6k. Also the S85 peak torque is 6k and peak power is 7.5k.
