Jul 17, 2017 · Hi, I'm currently experiencing a problem with the Valvetronic system on my BMW with N52 engine and it would be great if I could get some advice. So I've removed the Valve cover to inspect Valvetronic system. So far, I've bench tested the Valvetronic motor and put DC current from a battery to it and the motor seems to be working as it should.

Jun 3, 2021 · The pressure should instantly jump to 72 psi +/- 0.3 psi (5.0 +/- 0.02 bars) for the N52. While my vehicle does have 177,600 miles, the filter and regulator were changed around 120k miles. My pressure is spot-on perfect.

(--I'm trying to educate myself on the exhaust vibration dampener and support fix and which method applies to my engine).
