Oct 7, 2013 · With the ews delete for the m54 into e30, engine and its harness of course and a 5-6 wires connected in the engine bay + the foot pedal wires and your done. End result = big different. Here is a video of ours running with ews.

May 15, 2022 · I bought a new EWS from BMW, coded to my VIN. So I went from EWS 3 to EWS 4.3 EWS III (3.3) to EWS IV (4.3). I followed the fantastic advice by Bali to update the firmware of the DME, to cope with the new EWS software. The new DME software version is 7564484 which seems to match with RealOEM.com.

Jul 17, 2015 · Good news guys, we finally managed to get the ews delete for all 4 engines that use MS43 :hi: So right now the ews delete is possible at M54B22, M54B25, M54B30 and even Alpina E5 engine :thumbsup: Files are currently updating.

Apr 22, 2011 · There is a EWS antenna ring around the ignition tumbler. The DME is paired with the key and the EWS module. When the proper key is inserted, the antenna receives the signal from the key chip, it is sent to a unit that amplifies the signal.

Apr 5, 2023 · They offer a EWS delete service for £65 which seems fairly reasonable. They also offer a remap for £99 (which includes EWS delete) which can also account for cat removal and free flowing exhaust. Is this worth doing considering how it will be installed in the E30?
