Jun 8, 2022 · This is probably the most ignorant post I've ever read. You've probably never properly driven a car hard. People like Porsches, Japanese sports cars, Corvettes, and pony cars because they do "sports" stuff well (arguably better than an M3 now) without breaking. In fact BMW literally do not care about sports cars.

Feb 21, 2022 · M5 is sporty sedan car, M3 is a sedany sports car. Having driven both on and off the track, I’d take either. On a big boy track like COTA the M5 will walk away from an M3. You’ll catch them in the corners in an M3 but as soon as you hit a straight you’ll be right foot down with nothing more to give as the M5 pulls away.

Every competitor for the bmw m3 is getting compromised the m3 is gonna be left alone at this point. The c63 decided to use a 4 cylinder that sounds like an angry fridge, the Giulia will be an EV, the ct4 blackwing isn't being sold in Europe and the Audi rs4 isn't as dynamic as the m3

Jun 28, 2022 · The M3 is a performance car, which means it needs higher quality of almost everything than a normal road car. E.g., you'd need high-performance multigrade synthetic oil for the engine which cost way more than a regular multigrade synthetic oil.

RE: Electronics, they took the board out and the mosfets were failing on the board. They let a specialist take a look, found out BMW underspec'd all the mosfets/transistors on the board. *shrug* Saying the electronics won't fail seems like a stretch, even if it's the M3. I did a google and I see tons of electrical failures on m3post.com

Oct 8, 2021 · Think of it this way - M2C is a shorter wheelbase, less capable M3. It's literally a bunch of M3 parts stuffed into a 2 series chassis so fundamentally they are going to share many of the same qualities. It is more fun on the road/street due to the shorter wheelbase. I wouldn't say that means it handles any better - it just handles differently.
