Dec 29, 2020 · I agree and think it would be awfully simple to have available a rear bench option with a middle seat. Adding an extra seat belt and headrest would need to be worked out, but the i3's flat floor really makes it ideal space for transporting a third rear passenger.

Sep 30, 2021 · I removed the rear seat to install an android auto mmi box. I found placing the seat back down to be really easy. The tricky/time consuming part is pushing the seatbelt buckles through the seat holes as you push the seat down.

Mar 6, 2019 · Rear-facing seats could be a challenge, depending on how far back your front seats are positioned. But that is unlikely to be your problem, given kids' ages. If you have to assist them with buckling, the room in the back is tight. You will need to both open the rear suicide door, and flip the front seat out of the way to gain full access.

With just the 2 of us we fairly need the rear seats so some sir tot cassette design so they could be lifted in or out would be perfect.
