The BMW H2R ("Hydrogen Record Car") is a racecar adapted to run on liquid hydrogen fuel. It was conceived and developed in 10 months under the direction of Dr. Raymond Freymann.

The BMW H2R wrote a new chapter in history in 2004 by recording a string of nine world records. One of the new marks it set was a top speed of over 300 km/h (186 mph), which represented virgin territory for hydrogen-powered vehicles.
