Apr 30, 2021 · I have to say I’m a bit confused as to the beat down on the E60 M5. I’ve owned a 2008 6-speed manual E60 for 12 years now and had very few expensive repairs ($2-3K). It’s been reliable and a land rocket at the same time. I put a Dinan exhaust on it 5 years ago which awoke the beast. Have had it up to 139mph without a hitch. It was hungry ...

Dec 23, 2022 · tl;dr - The E60 m5 is not a car for everyone but if you're willing to put up with the quirks and expenses it is an absolutely amazing machine. I've made a few posts over the years discussing what it's like living with an E60 M5 every day. I bought my 2008 M5 in November of 2013 with 70k miles on it. I'm now at just under 142k miles.
