Apr 10, 2017 · The difference between the 330i's N52 and the 328i's N52 is the fact that the 328 has a single stage intake manifold whereas the 330i has a 3 stage intake manifold. Oct 1, 2020 · It's a E90 330I 2005 with the N52 engine. I read the fault codes through ISTA and get the following errors: Intake camshaft sensor 2A98 & 2A82 VANOS solenoid valve, inlet 2A98 & 2A82 When clicking both of them they refer to the errors 2A98 and 2A82. I've swapped and cleaned both vanos solenoids, I've also swapped both camsahft sensors.

Mar 1, 2018 · My current problem is a hunting idle. The rev counter fluctuates by about 50-100 revs. When I got the car first, it purred like a kitten and the rev counter was rock solid. That was until the water pump failed and took out the head gasket. I took the car to a BMW indie specialist who replaced the gasket.

Oct 4, 2016 · I have a 2006 BMW 330i e90 n52 engine. I was driving down the road and the harmonic balancer fell out and the car shut down on me in the middle of the road. I had it towed to my mechanic shop and put the harmonic balancer back in and tightened it back up. I filled it back up with oil since it all spilled out. After that there was no spark.
