Mar 19, 2023 · It calls for 0w-20, but it’s ok to use 5w-30 (especially if you are over 75k miles, I wouldn’t use 0w-20). 7500 miles is a fine oil change interval on a quality synthetic, 5000 is a waste of money unless you are tracking your 320i (you probably aren’t).
Reliability of newer (2017-2019) BMW’s after 40k miles? : r/BMW
Dec 23, 2022 · I think the BMW’s (and any other car) start going to shit after people get tired of paying $1500 every time they get their car serviced so they just stop maintaining it. But yeah, expect to pay about $1200+ each time you get service, BMW is the most expensive car I’ve owned specifically because of maintenance costs.
On the verge of buying my first BMW, G20 320i, still unsure
If you need a agile, and quick car I think the 320i is good enough. If you want to go faster than 180 km/h the 330i might be a better option. Before buying the 320i I also drove a 330i and the difference is definitely there, but for my requirements the 320i is enough and you’re faster than 80% of other cars on the streets.

Buying a 2015 BMW 320i, what should I look out for? : …
Oct 20, 2023 · UPDATE: thank you for all your advice, super helpful. I’ve actually just gone and purchased a 2019 320i (basically the same specs but in silver with the newer engine, shadow pack and LED headlights) for a couple grand extra - think it’ll be worth it in the long run by avoiding the issues with the N20 as it sounded like that would be £££ if it went.
BMW 320i opinions : r/whatcarshouldIbuy - Reddit
Apr 19, 2021 · As a bmw guy, you're better off buying a used civic or accord, or any other non luxury brand car than getting the 320i. 95% of the 320is on the road are gonna be the absolute cheapest ones with no options, and at that point it's really not better than a base model honda, because everything is an option in bmws. Basically, skip the bmw, and get ...
BMW 320i vs 330i : r/CarTalkUK - Reddit
Jan 24, 2023 · 320i with a B48B20A will happily output 250bhp 320i with a B48B20B will hit 300bhp before you need to change bits, as this is the same engine as the 330i. So, go buy a 320i with a B-spec engine, and go get it remapped. 👍
What engine does my 2018 320i have? : r/F30 - Reddit
Sep 15, 2021 · I’ve been looking into things and was curious which engine my car has. I just picked up a 2018 320i last month and have been loving it. I have seen that the 2018 320i could have the N20 engine which have notorious for chains failures. I’ve also read that they were given the B48s since 2015 which makes it hard to know which engine I actually ...
Is it worth buying a BMW E30 320i saloon or is it better to ... - Reddit
Dec 28, 2022 · The 320i was a way to get a more prestigious 6-cylinder, but with the lowest cost . These days I'd agree with you. Ideally get a 318 or 323/325. Get a 316 if you just want the cheapest E30 looking thing. 320i if it's going for cheap.
