May 27, 2014 · It is possible to lose 100 lbs without surgery! I did it. I am down 160 lbs and have maintained that loss for 3+ years. The problem, in my opinion, is not losing the weight. It is in maintaining the loss. I think we’re all pretty much experts on losing it; it’s that component of long term maintenance that is hard to achieve.
