BHP - How to Fit and Aftermarket Barrell
Oct 2, 2007 · So, I'd like to get just hair deeper into information on the procedure re: the BHP. Starting from ground zero here, so bear with me. Please correct me if my assumption on this is incorrect, because they're just raw assumptions. First, I'm assuming that you fit an aftermarket BHP barrel in the same order you'd fit a 1911 barrel.
BHP Thumb Safety Question - Handguns and Ammunition Forum
Jul 17, 2010 · In a 1980 9mm BHP, I 've noticed that the ambi safety (added by previous owner) behaves as follow: If the safety is engaged, and the trigger is then pulled with moderate force, there is a slight "click" heard and after safety disengagement, the trigger pull is lighter than otherwise is the case.
BHP Hammer-Spring... - Handguns and Ammunition Forum
May 25, 2011 · I put a 28# main spring in my '77 Model BHP, and it worked out nicely, but I plan to use a 26# spring in my new 75th Anni. BHP. I hope to be able to leave the mag disconnect in place, and still get and acceptable trigger pull. Let us …
The BHP and +P Ammo? - Handguns and Ammunition Forum
Jun 28, 2005 · To design a pistol that will break down with usage of period ammo just does not make sense to me. My Taurus 92 was designed very closely after the Beretta 92, and though it states in the owner's manual no +P ammo, it goes on to say that it is not guaranteed reliable with anything but RNFMJ 124gr at NATO velocities (1200fps plus).

May 8, 2006 · Hi T LEE, I went on the Numrich E-gunparts web site and looked at the Millet Sights. However, they have at least two tenon sizes listed and do not list which rear sight goes with the serrated front sight, i.e. rear sight opening.
Fitting/Installing BHP Hammer, Sear, and Safety
Apr 2, 2010 · I will echo what gt40doc said above and recommend sending your pistol to a skilled pistolsmith. My personal preference is always NOVAK's. It was Novak's the identified what had been botched by the other pistolsmith and fixed it for me. They are not a one man shop, do fantastic work, and have a fast turn around (days versus weeks/months).
BHP .40 S&W vs. CZ75B .40 S&W - Handguns and Ammunition …
Feb 12, 2005 · Magazine Release: Equal. I found I had to rotate the pistol slightly to release the magazine from either pistol. Trigger Pull: BHP-SA / CZ-DA/SA. Both triggers exhibited substantial creep and were a bit "gritty" feeling, but broke cleanly. Call it equal, but the CZ allows single action "cocked and locked" carry or conventionall DA/SA.
Fit of an aftermarket barrel in the BHP... - Handguns and …
Aug 28, 2006 · I have a tenuous grip on the complexity of installing a barrel in the 1911. At least enough to know thats its best left to the professionals who have the tools and knowledge to do the job correctly. The BHP though, does not have the link, bushing, lower lug to cut, etc.. Do the...
