Jan 15, 2025 · Not to detract from the 2025 National Meet in Charlotte NC, but just in case you are not a BCA member and missed the announcement, the 2026 BCA National will be held in Albany, NY. The Meet dates are Wednesday 19th thru Saturday Aug 22nd. BCA membership is not required to attend, however, BCA membership is required to have a vehicle judged.

Oct 20, 2024 · The Tar Heel Chapter is excited to host the 52nd BCA National Meet July 23-26, 2025 at the Embassy Suites Charlotte Concord in Concord, NC. This is the same host hotel that was used in 2012. We will not be using the Speedway as a show field in 2025 all events will remain at the hotel.

Nov 30, 2018 · Not true. Baofengs use the actual frequency of privacy codes, though you might be programming them with presets. Use the attached frequency chart - BCA, Motorola, and other "family band" radios use the same frequencies for their presets.

Jan 16, 2024 · Rode a couple seasons with the BCA Link 2.0. After 2 seasons the plastic clip holding the mic to the radio body broke. BCA Warranty was great and super easy to deal with. Had a replacement mic in no time. Decided to try an Oxbow last season, and I didn't use the BCA after that. There's pros and cons to both.

Nov 20, 2018 · BCA vs Baofeng bf-888s I will continue testing all winter to see side by side results. I have been using my BCA for 3 years, also a Garmin. I just now cloned the Baofeng to have the same first 16 channels as a BCA. Baofeng are only about $25 ea equipped with a remote speaker BCA Link is about $130

Dec 9, 2018 · I've got my two radios working. I programmed the BCA Link channels on first, then a bunch of the FRS,GMRS channels, and NOAA. I found that the BCA "open" channels, (A&F) without private subchannels were the biggest headache using CHIRP software. At first, I only had one way communication from the Baofeng to my regular Motorola walkie talkies.

Mar 6, 2023 · BCA warrantied the mic cord on my 2.0 a few months ago, have since used it as a backup and got a Baofeng with the Btech Mic, its quite good for the money.

Dec 22, 2020 · I don't like drilling into my tunnel. Always worried that hole will lead to cracking. I used the Polaris OEM Lock & Ride fasteners . The problem is that they are $15 each to buy new. So now I have a Burandt Bag that I can't really sell. But I do like the BCA bag. Easier to get into and rides a little higher than the Burandt Bag.
