How wide are these engines? At this stage i wanna put it into a ford escort of some sort, and will only be used for track/strip purposes.

Mar 9, 2010 · There's been conversions with b18 civics before where the owners literally grafted a b20 CRV 4WD drive train and then made it rear wheel drive. In the time and cost that's associated with doing a k20/k24 RWD conversion you might as well just buy a new age RWD sports car.

Apr 28, 2020 · Your best bet is to use a K20 or K24 for a RWD swap. They have better linear power, they use a timing chain rather than a timing belt, they use a coil-on pack ignition system rather than a distributor, and overall handle power better than a B series.
