I have this AXYZ - Smouse Surface Tooltip Sensor and would like to wired this up to ESS Smoothstepper with C11G, but not sure about power/ground or data wires on this device. Any one have the same unit or have experience with this.

The Smouse is used to measure the length of tools on either a AMC system or on some A2MC systems. It is also sometimes referred to as a tool tip sensor. Note: this Smouse comes with coil cable 24292, please call if your machine requires a special order with coil cable 24508.

Dec 8, 2011 · I was not sure if there were any limit switches on the mahine at first, but upon closer inspection there are proximity sensors on it and I will tie in to those for proper installment. Should be fairly straight forward.
