Sep 16, 2019 · Today I managed to get it to run the F function to start the spindle manually and it started up the cooling fan and it made the spindle have some resistance when turning it by hand (Normally the spindle has no resistance).

This error occurs when the machine tries to send spindle speed or RPM information to a device that does not have RPM control. For example the “S” command in an NC file sets the spindle RPM but if this is sent to a knife device then an Error 503 will occur.

The A2MC is capable of using the spindle and tool changer for tapping holes. Holes can be either tapped through or tapped “blind”, meaning that the hole is not through the material.

If the spindle does come on the problem is a limit switch. You can check which limit switch is the problem by looking at the connection board in the back of the machine and seeing which limit sensor is activated.

Feb 20, 2022 · I have been happily using the machine and teaching myself Vcarve/Mach3 and slowly correcting previous owners errors (eg, all limit switches, and home switches turned off). On Friday I went to use the machine and I can get zero response from the X, Y and Z motors. Spindle spins up as normal. Mach 3 is working fine I think.

Jun 15, 2022 · It has the spindle controller COMMANDER SE. I was able to go into the setting on it and turn on and off the spindle (but in doing so messed up a few settings), so now when I turn the machine on the spindle turns on and I have to hit the stop button on the Commander control.
