Despite the name, the armor didn't give Alucard the abilities of an Axe Lord. Instead, the Axe Lord Armor physically turned Alucard in the classic Axe Armor. This version was very limited -- he had the ability to swing his axe, move ludicrously fast, but he had almost no jump height whatsoever.
