Apr 12, 2022 · I’m still very new to tequila and still trying to learn. I purchased a bottle of Avion 44 because it was recommended by a friend. It is delicious, but I’m having trouble verifying whether or not it contains additives. I cannot find an article that states definitively that it does not. Any help would be appreciated.

Oct 3, 2021 · Don’t mean to confuse, I’m only into silver tequila but añejo is only served for top shelf liquor where I’m at, it’s cincoro, Avión 44, or DJ-1942. I’m trying to ask what would be a good alternative to either a middle-top shelf without spending part of my paycheck.

Jun 26, 2021 · Also, Avion 44 is designed to be a very dessert kind of drink. I'm not even sure it would work with sangrita because its forward flavors are more like bourbon--vanilla, caramel, etc. I'd drink Avion 44 like a cognac. In a snifter, at room temperature, by itself, preferably after a meal.

May 28, 2021 · I like the Avion 44. It's a decent price point for a nicely (but not overly) barrel-influenced expression. I suspect it has some additives (sweetener and vanilla) but it's not heavy handed and is nicely balanced with a bit of peppery and some alcohol bite.
