Dec 2, 2022 · Hi - I’ve not had this issue, but I did get told by a friend with an S1 to remove the little nylon net bag containing white granules in the coolant filler bottle. These bags sometimes burst and the granules flow round the coolant system and block the heater matrix. So check your coolant filler bottle and see if this bag has split.

Apr 4, 2015 · Just back from Auto-tec at Port Glasgow. Had my S1 remapped as part of the Group Buy on here. Totally transforms the car. No issues with the clutch & it pulls incredibly well. I had a Pipercross Panel Filter fitted during the week. The car made almost 315 bhp (dyno to follow). Really happy

Dec 14, 2018 · I've never seen any proof of a more durable clutch being fitted to S1's made during 2017. If you're buying new and the car hasn't been modded and assuming you're not going to launch it all the time the OEM should be fine. Mine didn't die until I had a map that took it to 336bhp and 476nm of torque.
