Dec 17, 2016 · For a compact luxury sedan, I would look at Audi A4/S4 or BMW 328/335. The model depends on whether a 4cylinder is adequate or you want a 6 cylinder. Audi is more reliable than BMW, but they are both more reliable than the C class Benz. The Lexus IS is reliable, but will feel like a brick compared to the Audi and BMW.

Oct 19, 2024 · The BMW will probably have more issues with the retractable hard top and you’re limited to part of the trunk space with the top down, The shop I’d be taking the car to works on both as well as Mercedes and Porsche, a shop that works on lots of BMW’s and Audi’s could give you an idea of cost to maintain and have some ideas how to keep the car long term.

Aug 24, 2010 · I’ve really been looking at 2006/07 model BMW 3s and Audi A4s (usually with 30-50k on the clock). After owning the Passat, I swore I’d never own another VW/Audi product, but the A4s are classy little cars. I’ve heard mixed thoughts on the reliablity improvements of current VW/Audi products, but I’m still a little skeptical.

Taxi drivers and police hate front wheel drive; the taxis drivers for the additional maintenance and high cost of repairs, the police for the fragility of the front end drive in making fast U turns across the median of a highway.

Jun 13, 2021 · I’m an Audi driver and have enjoyed my current A3 cabriolet very much. I’m considering upgrading to the A5 but inventory is low. In my search I saw the 2021 Mercedes CLA 35 AMG. I have never seen this model but it’s appears really nice. (But it’s not a convertible.) Has anyone had experience with the CLA35 AMG coupe? What are your thoughts? Thanks!

It used to affect mostly BMWs, Audis, Mercedes and similar. These days the technology has trickled down to cheaper brands with similar results.
