Aug 6, 2007 · giac is the only good manufacturer out there for the 2.8l. the atermarket products out for the 2.8l is veryver limited.you could also go w/ neuspeed bt i hear they're garbage when it comes t tuning. plus its not a prograable chip,more like a soldered chip on the car that gives it a few pluses like raised limiter,beter top end,ect.

Feb 10, 2009 · The equivalent grade for my engine is 5W30 fully synthetic. I ended up buying Castrol Edge which advertised itself: 'as used by VW & Audi for long life servicing'. Expensive though at £45 for 4 litres. Pays in the long run to use the best though. Hope this helps.

Jun 14, 2007 · 2.5tdi power loss I have the same problem in my 2002 Allroad 2.5tdi, going into limp mode due to high boost pressure (over 30psi). Dealer wanted to replace inlet manifold flap valve for $686. I think he was fishing as I could suck it shut and tying it made no difference.
