It's the biggest benefit of using a Mek IMO, with something like a Giga, once you're down to low HP, you're done for a while. But with the Mek, you spend a couple minutes healing and you're good to go. As far as crafting bonus, it does indeed apply. I used a 105 Crafting Character with Focal Chilli on a 189 MC BP, outputted a 196 Mek.

Clearing spikes does damage the meks a little. And if there’s 100s or 1000s of spikes the meks are either gonna have to stop and heal often or the enemy might have to switch to c4. Best case you catch a mek clearing spike spam and it’s already low on hp from spikes and you hit it with the pumpy or pocket giga real quick and kill it

PistolFuelCost is how much fuel percentage from 100 that each shot costs, since the mek shoots 3 times from a single shot this value will multiply by 3. HoverFuelCost is how much fuel that the mek will consume while hovering for each second. PistolHeatCost is the amount of heat buildup per shot.
