Argel Tal was one of the Word Bearers Legionaries who went on a pilgrimage into the Eye of Terror. Like anyone who goes abroad on holiday, he refused to shut up about how much the trip had changed him when he got home.

Bonded with the warp-entity Raum, Argel Tal has become a fusion of human soul and daemonic power - held up as a prime example of his Primarch's intentions for the future of humanity, venerated and envied among the Word Bearers.
