Dec 28, 2024 · Lanthanum has a certain level of toxicity for the organisms in our aquariums. For instance, a study investigated the toxicity of lanthanum for the embryos of the sea urchin Paracentrotus lividus (Oral et al., 2012). A concentration of 1.38 mg/L did not cause embryo mortality but resulted in developmental defects in all cases.

Oct 23, 2023 · I have a 75g now and was thinking I could use the same stand and equipment with a 90 or 110. But before I buy something that looks like a good deal I wanted to hear from folks who have previous experience purchasing larger aquariums. I don't want to come home to 100+ gallons of saltwater and fish on my floor because of a cheap build.

Two tanks, one sump - who's doing it? | Reef2Reef
May 11, 2016 · The tanks I'm thinking of will be a 66 x 22 x 20 peninsula (72" long stand) and a 48 x 16 x 16 "nano". The sump will go under the peninsula, roughly 60 x 18 x 18, for around 40-45 gallons of water in it at normal operation and a max of 80ish gallons emergency.

Mar 24, 2016 · They are a large producer of everything from hobbyist grade aquariums on up to commercial live seafood displays. The main advantage to a marineland product, IMHO, is the price. If just a standard tank, it's most likely the system uses standard glass (you could ask if it uses starphire glass on the front) panel, and the most basic features offered.
