Jun 13, 2024 · HARRISBURG – The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) today voted to suspend and investigate proposed water and wastewater rate increases by Aqua Pennsylvania Inc. (Aqua Water) and Aqua Pennsylvania Wastewater Inc. (Aqua Wastewater).

This TARIFF SEWER-PA P.U.C. NO. 4 as filed by Aqua Pennsylvania Wastewater, Inc. at Docket No. R-2024-3047824 on February 18, 2025 supersedes TARIFF SEWER-PA P.U.C. NO. 3 and its related supplements.

Aqua Pennsylvania’s requested base rate increase requires investigation and approval by the PUC. The rate review process can take up to nine months, which means customers can expect any approved increases to take effect at the end of February, 2025.
