Oct 16, 2022 · Hi - I just was able to turn off S mode on my new laptop. I went to file explorer and typed regedit in the bar, it prompted me to go to a site and I was able to turn off S mode. It is off now and I am able to install apps not from the store. Choose where to get apps now appears in Apps > Advanced App Settings and it is set to Anywhere!!

Jul 5, 2020 · I went through all the apps to try and figure out how the heck that happened and noticed that: 1) there are a bunch of apps that don’t list a storage size beside them (this includes things from Epson, Dropbox, Norton Security, Spotify, Steam, etc).
There is no "apps & features" section in the settings.
Oct 9, 2024 · I understand your concern. In Windows 11, the equivalent section is called 'Installed apps.' To access it, simply press the Windows key + I to open Settings, then navigate to Apps > Installed apps. Should you need any further information, please let me know. John J.D.
